This dilapidated armoire looks like something from an Anthropology magazine and it is painted to look authentically painted years ago. In fact I painted and distressed it like this just a few days ago. In my process I have allowed the paint to fail naturally and then seal the work so that it won’t chip any further.
This cabinet was painted using Pantry Door authentic milk paint by Sweet Pickins and protected in GatorHide high quality sealer by Dixie Belle. Interior was cleaned well and it is in very good shape considering the age and use. There are abundant shelves, a bar which probably was meant to hang ties, and three drawers that slide out.

Dimensions are 40” wide x 22” deep and 54” tall.
