This is a restoration piece which means that it was acquired by me and any imperfections in structural corrected with minimal intrusion to the antiquity of the item.  Each restoration is cleaned and rejuvenated with antique museum grade products.  I choose exceptional items to be preserved in their original condition instead of painted.  While I repair and paint a lot of old furniture, there are some pieces that are examples of our collective heritage and for that reason they are staying unaltered.
