This fella came to me accidentally and as I started cleaning it and enjoying its every nook and it’s every quirky flaw, I realized that this is a great primitive looking piece, and that paint would not improve its antique charms. This is mission oak that obviously was a built-in at some point with the left side kissing the wall. He is a heavy, sturdy, historical and beautiful secretary piece that is true architectural salvage antique to be enjoyed as-is. It’s narrow profile would fit into narrow spaces and would do a good job to bring warmth to urban lofts.
Upper cabinet hides a secretary desk. Bottom cabinet has a glass knob, a hidden latch to open left door. Glass is still a hand blown original.
Dimensions are 42” wide 52” tall and 12.5” deep.
