I am completely in love with this and someone should get it before I totally change my mind and move things around to fit it in my home. A dreamy French provincial vintage hutch was originally manufactured in Des Moines IA and still has its Cole Furniture Des Moines tag. This is just enchanting and it has been embellished with French graphics (words mean Love, Court, True Love). There is a hutch on the top with two shelves. The shelves have plate groves. The glass has diamond gold embellishment and it is convex. The secretary has little compartments and six tiny drawers to keep the small mementos. The bottom has three drawers that can serve as a dresser. Being so multifunctional it would be a perfect hutch for small spaces. It even has its original brass key that opens both the hutch piece and the secretary piece. I have completely transformed this piece using three colors and this monochromatic color scheme of creamy, taupe and beige creates a soothing and romantic feeling. I also found an antique chair that compliments the piece so that it can be used when you write those love letters. The chair received new paint and all brand new upholstery materials. The chair also carries the message of kindness. This is sold as a set.
The hutch with secretary dimensions are 28” wide x 16” deep at the deepest part and 76” high at the central point.
