This serpentine dresser was made around 1910, therefore an antique.  It has been restored to rejuvenate all wooden surfaces with finishing oils.  The top has been sanded then stained with General Finishes oil based stain, then protected with Miniwax polyurethane for durability.  

The most work was spent on the drawers which were reinforced to be completely flat and strong.  The work on this piece is not so visible, it was more structural.  It is rare to find a serpentine piece with functional drawers that are flat.  All drawer stops were added where missing.  The antique wheels were completely replaced with new wheel housing and new hardwood replica wheels for easy movement.
