If a dresser went for a night out it would dress like this. I am thinking a little black dress brand new shoes and some gorgeous jewelry. My antique renovations are not just furniture to me, they are characters with an interesting past and a promising future. This dresser was unwanted and neglected for a long time before it's makeover. I have adorned it with authentic milk paint in color 'Suitcase' and drawer fronts in 'Midnight'. For me this dresser is all about it's out-of-this-world fancy hardware that is ornate and strong, which I have hand-painted to emulate how it looked originally before its 100+ years tenure. And boy this hardware is absolutely stunning. The dark background really shows it off. I don't believe royalty had better hardware. The dresser also received brand new hardwood wheels, and even the housings for the wheels were replaced. The top drawers were adorned in teal felt for a little colorful surprise when you open. The entire piece is polished in natural beeswax and will continue to age beautifully. This elegant piece would be a great accent piece and a new family member for you.
