This is a vintage mahogany built solid wood jelly bean (kidney) shaped desk with a coordinating chair. The desk is very old but it was reconditioned and painted in a beautiful sand color. The top was completely refinished in dark stain. The drawers have all stops and slide easily. There is total of 8 drawers with the bottom right being double in size. The chair received a completely new seat with fresh and romantic toile upholstery. The drawers are red inside from the natural tone of mahogany wood. The drawer pulls are original. This piece is romantic and vintage size made when life was simpler and there was more time to write letters and daydream.
Dimensions are 46” wide 22 1/4” deep and 29” high. The chair is antique approximate seat size 17.5x17 inches. Legs opening 17” wide x 24” tall
Note the chair doesn’t fit into opening but can be positioned on the side or like pictured at an angle. This piece can also float in the room as it is finished on all sides.
