Spring is almost here

As a creative person I like to make a lot of mess. Before things are looking pretty they look pretty disorganized and messy. The nature creates in the same way. In the spring there are branches on the ground, leaves from last year, a general mess that all of a sudden, wakes up, and blooms again. Spring is renewal of mind and spirit. But also, it means warmer weather and more projects can be done outside, which is desirable place to remodel furniture. I love working outside and in the temperatures over 50 degrees when my oil stain and topcoat can easily dry.

When I work indoors, I mostly have to stick with water based paints and stains, or listen to the family complain how my chemicals smell bad. Well, to achieve beauty sometimes you have to resort to drastic measures!
