How do I find inspiration?

This must be a year of the hutch, and I am doing several hutch remodels. The fact is people prefer horizontal furniture to vertical. Hutches, especially those with glass shelves and lights are out of fashion as we no longer collect things but rather use and replace when bored with it. 

For one of the upcoming hutches I want to do something fierce. The piece of furniture almost speaks to me and tells me what to do. For the hutch I am imagining a color combination red and orange. Unusual color combo but it is fire. And this piece says to me it wants to be hot!

To convince myself that my idea is good I googled desired colors and found these beautiful dresses that are definitely gorgeous manifestation of my red and orange color combo. Even that royal blue is delicious with it. There is no reason not to go for my fierce colorful idea. These beautiful dresses prove it!
