I use variety of wood oils for cleaning and refinishing, mineral spirits, denatured alcohol, de-glosser, primer, paint (latex, chalk and oil), transparent and opaque stain, top coats in polyurethane and polyacrylic, glazes of all kinds, art paint and mediums, speciality paints, shimmers, sandpaper, a lot of rugs, old socks, a lot of wood glue and wood fillers, I go through a lot of birch plywood and various wooden boards, wooden ornaments, spraypaint, and it keeps going on and on. When people ask me what I have used, I feel the pain of reducing all I do into few understandable sentences.

Renovating old furniture is expensive and I buy my supplies from the Woodsmith Store, Home Depot, Architecturals.net, House of Antique Hardware, Now and Then, Jerry's Artarama, Joanne's Fabrics, eBay, and many other sources to find missing drawer stops, replica wheels. There is always something you need when you fix up old pieces.
